The Richmond Business Expo
Eventex Furniture Hire are official contractors to the Richmond Business Expo which took place at Twickenham on 19th April.
Now in its fourth year, the Expo continues to gain ground and organisers thebestofrichmond raise their game every year to ensure it’s a hit. As well as all the usual great stuff, new for 2012 were two ‘How I Made It’ sessions presented by local guest entrepreneurs who shared their journey to setting up and building highly successful, nationally-recognised brands.
As a result of exhibitor and visitor feedback from 2011, thebestofrichmond also implemented a strong marketing push outside the immediate locality, plus a strand of activity specifically targeting corporate buyers in order to assist with their local procurement policies.
Back by popular demand was the opening seminar with serial entrepreneur Nigel Botterill, who went down a storm last year and has inspired many through his books, business development networks and seminars.
Headline sponsors the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and Barclays returned for another year. Richmond Chamber of Commerce was on board as a key partner for 2012 alongside Twickenham Experience, Richmond Council and media supporter the Richmond & Twickenham Times. Invaluable support was also provided by Knew Image, Progressive PR & Marketing and Nicely Wrapped Productions.
